THANK YOU

Thank you to everyone who took part in Funeral for Nature. The Red Rebels, the drummers, the pallbearers, the mourners, the youth orchestra, the stewards and support crew, the organisers, artist Anna Gillespie, the landscape design team, artists Alan Dunn and Sarah Fraser, Cady the bier carpenter, the photographers and filmers, Chris Packham and Megan McCubbin and the many more people who worked tirelessly behind the scenes. And to the people of Bath for letting us share the message of biodiversity loss with them.

A MESSAGE FOR MOURNERS

We are really looking forward to welcoming you too if you are coming as a mourner.

Some guidance for the day:

  • Please come dressed completely in black, including footwear

  • Creative but respectful mourner adornments to outfits welcome

  • No banners or placards please. This will not be a protest. The uniform visual look is very much part of the strategy

  • You will be part of the performance, so for maximum impact we will be looking for you to follow the sombre composure of the red rebels, ideally in lines of four as well

  • Please assemble in Green Park before 2pm where stewards will be there to guide you to follow the procession once it sets off

Thank you!

ROUTE REVEALED

This is the proposed route we will take, which has been discussed with the Police and B&NES.
